For this assignment, we were allowed to choose from a 1-point perspective, 2-point perspective, or 3-point perspective. I chose 2-point because I had never done it before and I thought it would be cool to draw buildings in a 2-point perspective. In a 2-point perspective drawing, you have two vantage points, and you connect your corners to its corresponding point. I used drawing pencils for this assignment an used shading to define the windows, sidewalks, and shadows of the buildings. This picture is from the point of view of someone standing at the corner of a street, and seeing both sides of the center building.

Portrait of Myself
For this assignment, we were instructed to do a profile view of someone. I chose to do myself. I used drawing pencils for this assignment and used the shading technique to show shadows and definition. This is also a great technique to show where the light hit my face and hair. I will post a picture soon.

Elvis Presley
I created this portrait of Elvis with drawing pencils. The shirt was the most tedious because of the detail of the striped design. I utilized the shading technique to get many effects such as the shine on his hair, the shadow of his chin, and the details of his face. I used a picture of him from the internet to copy in a larger form. To make every part of this portrait to scale, I drew 1' x 1' boxes on the image from the internet. On this larger paper, I made 2' x 2' boxes and that allowed me to make the copy as similar to the original image as possible.
